1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website at trailheadquietudex.world or by making an enquiry or booking through it, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit an enquiry. These terms apply to all visitors, enquirers, and guests who participate in activities arranged by Trailhead Quietude.

2. About our services

Trailhead Quietude is a small outdoor activity and booking operation based in Kanchanaburi province, Thailand. We arrange and operate three categories of experience:

• Riverside Heritage Walk — a guided half-day walk along a riverside path near Tha Maka, including local guide, transfer, water, and a light snack. Priced at ฿4,600 per person.
• Floating Raft House Stay (2 nights) — accommodation on a river raft house with breakfast, kayak access, and a printed walks guide. Priced at ฿10,900 for up to two guests for two nights.
• SUP & Dry-Bag Rental (daily) — daily hire of a stand-up paddleboard, paddle, leash, and dry bag, with a balance walkthrough included. Priced at ฿3,400 per day.

Prices are quoted in Thai Baht and include the items described. We reserve the right to adjust prices with reasonable notice; the price confirmed at the time of booking is the price that applies to that booking.

3. Eligibility and user obligations

To make a booking you must be 18 years of age or older, or be acting with the consent of a parent or guardian. By submitting an enquiry you confirm that the information you provide is accurate. Children may participate in activities subject to the age guidance set out on the relevant experience description and as discussed at the time of booking.

You agree to use this website lawfully, not to submit false or misleading information, and not to attempt to interfere with the site's operation.

4. Bookings and payments

All bookings begin as an enquiry. A booking is confirmed only when we have replied in writing (by email or message) to confirm the date, experience, and price. Payment terms are agreed at the time of confirmation and handled separately from this website. We do not process card payments through this site.

We cannot hold dates provisionally without a confirmed booking. Availability is subject to change until confirmation is given.

5. Cancellations, changes, and refunds

If you need to cancel or change a confirmed booking:

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the confirmed start time are eligible for a full refund or a rescheduled date, at your preference.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start time are reviewed individually. Please contact us directly by phone as soon as possible in these cases.
• If we cancel or reschedule an experience due to weather, river conditions, or circumstances beyond our control, we will offer a rescheduled date at no additional cost, or a full refund if no suitable date is available.

We do not make absolute assurances about refund timelines as these depend on the payment method used.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, design elements, and the Trailhead Quietude name and branding — is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of this site without prior written permission. Sharing links to the site for personal, non-commercial purposes is welcome.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this website or our services to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent enquiries.
• Attempt to access or tamper with any part of the site's infrastructure.
• Reproduce or republish content from this site without permission.
• Engage in any conduct that is unlawful under the laws of Thailand.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Outdoor activities carry inherent risks. We take reasonable precautions — including equipment checks, qualified guides, and activity insurance — but we cannot eliminate all risk. Participation in any experience arranged by Trailhead Quietude is at your own discretion. We are not liable for losses or injuries that arise from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather events, water-level changes, or the actions of third parties.

The information on this website is provided in good faith and for general reference only. To the extent permitted by applicable local law, our total liability for any claim arising from use of the site or our services is limited to the amount paid for the booking in question.

This site may contain links to third-party websites for reference or convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. Linking does not imply endorsement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from the use of this website or from bookings made through it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.
